Exactly, the idea would be to try and steal back the audience from other mobile games. Fight fire with fire, so to speak.
I kinda can but it isn’t exactly practical. And I already have an idea of a specific plugin, but will need some time one of these days to look into it better.
Yeah, I’m more thinking of a Q&A than an interview for now. Basically, I’m thinking of asking some people if I can send them a list of questions for them to answer, and then I just put the questions and answers together in a post. There isn’t interaction, but then again, it still works. 🙂

That’d make sense for them to be doing, I’m not sure how effective that’ll be though, but then again, with the growing childrens market on mobile phones; those are the people you’d want to convert to hardcore gamers… so I suppose it’d work.
Interesting that you can’t get the site to notify you when a new comment is posted, especially since I can as a guest, you should be able to as the creator!
I mean, hey, one day, the direct interviews would definitely be something you could do ‘often,’ but for now, start off simple, ideally, any interview could draw people to the site, it just has to be executed properly 🙂 – and I’m sure you’d be able to do it.

That's how I see it anyways. First I need to work on the comments system a bit, need to find a way to not miss new comments when I unlock this "approve first, then it shows up" way of doing things. Working on it though. Yeah, direct interviews might be very difficult depending on the people, since the site isn't big at all, but maybe I will get away with sending them some questions and getting the answers back, who knows!? And Retro might be pushing it a bit... XD Was planning to work a bit on some stuff today, but my allergies struck last night, so I'm just talking around and relaxing for today. o.0'

Well, I suppose, once again, if it is beneficial to Nintendo, then I can’t complain. I just hope it doesn’t mean we lose any quality on the console side… but I doubt that’ll happen again… they’re kind of banking on the hope that people remember the Mii’s from when everyone had their own Wii… back in what, 2007? 😛

Yes, FIFA is EA and PES is Konami, we probably will be getting those series back just because football/soccer sells in Europe, not that I have played many of those games in past. Not really necessary like you say.
They will be getting more support, that I’m sure of.

I think MiiTomo is a good launch title for the mobile brand. It’s like a Tomodachi Life for mobile that will hopefully appeal to a good number of people that don’t play Nintendo much and make them intrigued about their other products.
At least, from the number of users Kimishima said they wanted, that’s what I think they are going for.
He also said the next two games will feature well known Nintendo IPs, so Mario and something else are probably next? :\

Been thinking about what I can do to get more readers and attention from people, because just the news and other things doesn’t seem to be working. Maybe I’m gonna try contacting Nintendo and stuff and try to get interviews with the devs now and then. Even if a live interview isn’t possible, I might get away with a Q&A style interview, where I send them questions and they send me the answers. I will see what I can do in the coming weeks… 😐

I’ll be honest, I don’t think, apart from Fifa, we don’t need sports games (I say Fifa, because it’s probably the most popular one (worldwide)) – Not sure if it’s EA, but whatever?
I’d honestly be happy just to see it getting support, even if they’re generally games that don’t interest me, but hey, I say that now, it’s not what I’ll say later! 🙂

I think the NX will have more 3rd party support than the Wii U, but I’m not expecting it to get back some support like the EA sports games and stuff like that. We might get more ports from series certain 3rd parties usually make for other consoles, but lets be real, we probably still won’t get the support of some people in the industry…

Well, you probably have been reading the wrong post then, if you want new announcements, because the 3rd party and indie posts have had much more new stuff like that, almost every week. Of course, some of them are Japan only for now, but they are still new game announcements…
When it comes to a direct, I’m sure we will get something next month at least. You know, with MiiTomo’s launch and the new Nintendo Account system in place, and all that… it’s bound to happen at some point.
Haven’t got that many amiibo so far, I have like what, 9 sitting on the shelf, and the 4 Fire Emblem characters that are compatible with Fates still on the way.
Probably would have collected more if I could, but I don’t really have the funds for that…

I’m really hoping that the NX is a return to form for Nintendo; pulling the 3rd party support they deserve, with a powerful system they need. That engine support will be unreal! x4.

and Just like me, after Mega Yarn Yoshi came out, I stopped caring about amiibo, and so did Nintendo… (except I picked up Lucas)… I’ve spent over $1000AUD on damn amiibo.
If there is an opportunity to make money, a company will take it. That’s the way I see it, T-Shirts are the perfect merchandise product. Big enough to constantly remind you, yet small enough for you to not hate it when trying to store it somewhere.

The videos are a pretty interesting watch and are giving me the idea that Nintendo isn’t playing around with the NX for a change.
If everything goes alright, I think we might be in for another SNES type era, or a Nintendo renascence, which would be so freakin’ great. $.$
By the way, don’t know if you checked the 3rd party news post, but there’s that new Project Elea potentially coming to the NX. Seems like an interesting Metroid-like type of game, at least from what we know of the plot and atmosphere. Apparently the guys have been interviewed and have given some support to the claims in the NX rumour videos, specially that part of it having native Unreal Engine 4 support, which makes me want to say “about damn f*cking time Nintendo!”. XD
Also, since we are nearing the end of February, I’m expecting a new direct either on the last week of this month or the first of next month. They kinda need to make a small push for Pokkén and some March 3DS games, I feel…
And if you take a look at the Release Calendar you will see that we still don’t have a Fire Emblem Fates release date… but if that means we get dual audio in the PAL release, I’m ok with it… <_<' At least we might get some sort of Pokémon announcement on the 27th, so I'm waiting for that day... Ishihara did say recently they have some other sort of big project besides Pokémon GO, so I'm curious what's next... Hope you like the redesign of the calendar by the way, I think it's much easier to use and understand now!? o.0' And what's up with Nintendo Australia man, they haven't updated their own amiibo page since the release of the big Yarn Yoshi amiibo... =_= Yeah, the card idea is cool, but it would have been much better if they used it with the main series games instead of spin-offs a good amount of people don't care about. I played New Leaf for a good 6 months or so, then started not paying attention to it because of school and stuff, so I'm out of the Animal Crossing fever until another main series game is announced. 😛 I agree, using the Pokémon versions was a great idea. amiibo cards are a cool idea, sucks that I’m not interested in Animal Crossing.

It’s nice that Splatoon is taking games and pitting them against each other, instead of completely stupid a vs. b ideas that the Nintendo employees come up with when drunk on a friday night.
