Blast Ball, a new IP for the Nintendo 3DS, was announced yesterday during the second stage of the Nintendo World Chapionships.
In this game, players take control of a mech suit and have to help their team of three score the biggest number of goals possible. This is done by shooting laser beams at a giant ball inside a stadium-like structure, aiming it at the oposing teams goal. However, if the mechs get hit enough times, they can overheat and eject the player to the outside, leaving them immobile for a while and hindering that teams progress.
