Bandai Namco shared a few new details about the additional bonuses for Project X Zone 2 on this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine.
The first-print edition of the game will include a challenge map DLC titled “The Girl from 10 Years Ago”, which will give you a special item called “Black Hot Pants” upon completion. A special 3DS theme will also be included.
The limited edition will cost 9,980 yen plus tax and is called the “Original Game Sound Edition”. It features a special option that lets you play using over 60 tracks from the first Project X Zone game. It also includes a DLC for “Valkyrie no Boken: Toki no Kagi Densetsu with Xiaomu” which is a special arrangement for Valkyrie no Boken’s version of Xiaomu as a playable character. A special 3DS theme called “Namco X Capcom 10th Anniversary” will also be part of the limited edition version bonuses.
Finally, a new battle system called “Mirage Cancel” is also mentioned to be part of the game. This allows you to press the B button during a regular attack to cancel it, entering slow motion and making it easier to get critical hits afterwards.
The game is now confirmed to be releasing on November 12 in Japan.
