Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Pulled Screenshots Feature

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games – New Screenshots and Details

Earlier today, some screenshots from Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games were added to the Rio 2016 blog before being pulled back just a few moments later. However, some people managed to save a few o them.

Apparently, the other few screenshots on the blog showed Sonic competing in Archery, Zazz preparing to serve in a Table Tennis match against Yoshi, Rugby 7s with 3 Marios, 2 Sonics, Diddy Kong, Boom Booms and Egg Pawns, and Rosalina, Daisy, Peach and a female Mii competing in Synchronized Swimming.

Here’s a gallery with the screenshots that were still “caught in time”:

Besides this, thanks to some entries on GameFly, we now have some indication that Nintendo will be handling the release of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, at least in the North American territory. This is because the retailer has Nintendo listed as the publisher of both the Wii U and 3DS versions. With previous games of the Mario & Sonic series, it was usually SEGA the one handling these matters.
