Thanks to Siliconera’s translation, we now know more details about Tokyo, Atlantis, and Eden, the three different settings in 7th Dragon III Code: VFD.
Here’s a summary of the info.
Tokyo (Present/Year UE77 – United Era):
– 80 years after the arrival of the Shinryu Dragon in the year 2020 and 2021;
– The Japanese Government had virtually lost all of its power;
– International self-defense force called ISDF is managing the peace and order;
– The people are doing their best to revive the country that was in ruins after the fight with the dragon, but it hasn’t been enough;
– They’re still doing their best to go back to the way things were before the invasion.
Atlantis (Past):
– Takes place about 12,000 years prior, in a world that exists in a different timeline;
– An underwater kingdom was established using a special ore called “Star Crystal” that’s found under the Atlantic Ocean;
– The people living there are from a special race called the Rushe;
– They established what was considered a high plane of civilization at the time.
Eden (Future):
– Takes place in a different timeline that takes place 5,000 years in the future;
– Shows a different kind of progress had science, technology and lifestyles taken a different twist;
– This is also where the first 7th Dragon game takes place;
– 80% of the world is ruled by dragons.
