First Japan Splatfest Feature

Splatoon – First Splatfest and Cut Content Details, Inkbrush release footage

Next week, Nintendo will be running the first Splatoon Splatfest in Japan, according to the game’s Twitter account.

The first Japanese Splatfest will be themed after “rice vs. bread” as the best breakfast option, and will be held from 6 PM on June 13 to 6 PM on June 14.

Players can vote for it via a machine found in the Inkopolis plaza. Voting can only be done once and your choice cannot be changed later, so be careful. Those who participate in the event will receive a temporary T-shirt with three slots for abilities. You will also ne able to use the Miiverse box in Inkopolis to write messages in support of your team.

The first Splatfest in North America will be held between June 20th (Sat) 6AM PT through June 21st (Sun) 6AM PT with the theme of “Cats vs. Dogs”, while the first Splatfest in Europe will be held on June 27th with the theme of “Pop vs. Rock”.
